The art is almost ready

Chen Xiyang in his creative practice combines painting tradition with ready-made trend. In an urban setting – on walls, streets or trees – he searches for structures, elements and compositions with great painting potential, which he later carefully documents using a camera. In this way, the artist points at the continuity of certain artistic tendencies, still rooted in the contemporary world so deeply that they imperceptibly penetrate into our everyday life.

Exhibitions may be visited only individually. Until further notice group tours are not possible. Guided tour service is temporarily suspended.
